Sea Kayaking in Devon

Sea Kayaking in Devon

Kayak tours of Devon's rivers, lakes and Jurassic Coast

Your day trip will be led by a BC (British Canoe) qualified kayak instructor. We provide all the sit in kayaking equipment you will need (paddles, buoyancy aids, spray decks helmets when required, etc) leaving you to chill out and enjoy the breathtaking scenery we pass along the way.
The exact details of each trip are finalised the previous day, taking into consideration local weather forecasts, the general ability of the group, your preferences and the time of year. In our briefing before your trip we cover all safety aspects, your contact details while on the water with us, health issues, what to wear, what to bring with you, and what experience you may have. There is always transport on hand should you need to be taken back to base. A moderate level of fitness is required - distances paddled are between 8 km and 10 km. We are always aware of local weather conditions. Although generally good, winds can be strong and our plans can sometimes change as a result.

As well as day trips, we offer tuition for beginners. Training takes place in the shallow (Blue Flag) Sandy Bay at Exmouth and lessons are based around understanding the movements of the kayak and learning how how the paddle, boat and water interact, as well as being taught the key safety and rescue skills required to safely paddle in a sheltered sea environment.

If your interested in joining one or more of our tours, please fill in and submit the form at the bottom of the page. I'll then get back to you with details of dates etc.
